Goodbye, Dharma!

Selamat Jalan to Dharma Team that just flew off for Solo, Indonesia on 25th of February 2012 in the wee hours of the morning. Packed with boxes containing all the beautifully embroidered and intricately designed costumes and their own luggage, off they went and all psyched for their first overseas performance. I can't help but be proud for their endless hours practicing in school will definitely pay off. Let's all take a moment and appreciate their diligence and most definitely determination.

With that having said, let's all wait for their return back home. I promise you to deliver all the inside scoops that happened over in Solo and of course the values they inculcated during their trip.

Pesta Pantun

During this exhausting period of incessant revision for the UT3, most of us are devoting our time revising through the 6Ps and notes that takes up a whole chunk of our laptop memory. However, a group of students from MCG’s Pentas Karyawan (PK) are doing more than their plates can hold. 




These assiduous yet lovely bunch of students are still coming back to school for their intensive trainings, shedding all their sweat, tears and blood for the upcoming Pesta Pantun. With the help of our very own adroit seniors such as Izwandi, Nurul Atikah, Siti Farliza and Siti Radhiah, PK is confident that they are able to triumph and glorify Republic Poly's MCG.

"Even though it is a struggle managing my time between school and PP trainings, I feel proud and honoured to be a part of this competition," said Muhammad Irsyad Bin Ishak , one of the participants for Pesta Pantun.

Hunting for Script-Writers

Ever wanted to become a scriptwriter but never given the opportunity? Here's your chance! The Malay Cultural Group (MCG) Committee are letting your very own script, come to live and become reality. Pre-requisites are it has to be at least two hours long, preferably in Malay and lastly, a moral that everyone can learn from. The theme of the script will be of your choice! The chosen script will be used by The MCG's Production for REFLECTIONS. So, go grab that pen and impress us with your creative writing!
