Our jovial students who were clad in traditional costumes stood up in ambivalence as the emcees started to mention the third placing. Even the red supporters were preparing to comfort each other.

Lacking in confidence was not the reason in the Pantun Team from Pentas Karyawan but the comments received from judges dashed their motivation. Flabbergasted - the perfect word when the judges mentioned that Republic Polytechnic won the second placing in the inaugural Pesta Pantun Competition.
That is not the end of the good news. Our very own student, Nur’Amirah Binte Yahya has clinched the ‘Pemantun Terbaik’ (Best Poet) in the competition.
‘Nothing is impossible,’ This tagline from Adidas will now be inculcated in every member from Pentas Karyawan. They are now aware that goals will be achieved with assiduity and determination. The seniors of Pentas Karyawan were proud of the achievement and hope that the next batch will continue to uphold this reputation in the next Pesta Pantun.
